Bekro coloured dyes are sourced from the leading manufacturers of dye in Europe. Bekro is considered the best in the industry for producing high quality dyes. Bekro use a stabiliser and antioxidant system and stable dye/pigment systems to minimise colour fading either during production or by light. The vibrant colours produced when added to the wax requires approximately 0.1g of dye per 100g of wax for slightly lighter shades, and at 0.2g of dye per 100g of wax for slightly deeper shades. The dye is designed to work for all different types of wax either natural or mineral. When added to wax creations, the dye does not impact on burn performance and will continue to produce a stable colour.
We suggest experimenting with dye quantities to achieve the ideal tone. The dye should be added around 70 degrees Celsius and needs to be stirred very well in the wax.
